Experience
I obtained my BA in journalism, with a marketing minor, from the University of Arizona. After graduating from college, I went on to manage a small business while enriching my education at the University of Georgia with math and sciences courses as I am now pursuing a Radiation Therapy certification. I have tutoring experience working with student athletes while at the University of Arizona. It was very rewarding and some of those former students are now athletes competing in the NFL and NBA. Most of my experience revolves around working with students in the areas of English and writing. However, I am knowledgeable in basic biology as well. Individuals who can be effective communicators are also able to be competent and professional individuals. I believe that effective communication is the cornerstone to having a successful, fulfilling life. I am able to help students become effective communicators, working with them in public speaking, reading, writing, and study/organizational skills. I am also able to work with students on essay editing and writing. In addition to teaching, I like to spend time playing the guitar and running.
