Experience

I tutored a variety of subjects for 2 years at my high school. SAT: 1900 ACT: 32. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping people and I love to see the light in their eyes when they finally understand what they've been struggling with. I've taken 10 AP classes: AP Human Geography, AP World History, AP Biology, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Language, AP US History, AP Environmental Science, AP Literature, and AP Spanish. I have also taken many honors and accelerated classes including Honors Chemistry, Honors Biology, Accelerated Math 1 2 and 3, Honors Literature in 9th and 10th grade, Spanish 1 2 3 and 4, Multivariable Calculus, and Physics. This past year I worked as an After School Program Worker at Mashburn Elementary and before that I refereed soccer for 2 years through the YMCA.

Hobbies

I've played soccer for 14 years. I have been involved in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) for 3 years and was co-president this past year. I play the guitar and the ukulele and read in my free time. I was in National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Math Honor Society, and Beta Club. Every Wednesday over the summer I work at the Food Pantry at my church. Last year I went on a mission trip to Tennessee and this year I'm going again. I was a Team Captain for my club soccer team for 2 years and my high school team as a senior. I have also coached a U8 boys soccer team.
